SAHODAYA SCHOOL COMPLEX, FATEHABAD

Minutes of Meeting of Sahodaya School Complex, Fatehabad held on 13 February2021

A meeting of Sahodaya School complex Fatehabad was organized on 13 February 2021 in SBP DAV Centenary Public School Fatehabad in which representatives from following schools were present:

7. Mrs. Anuja Mehta, Crescent Public School, Fatehabad (Member)

MINUTES

1. The meeting started with the welcome of members and introduction of members.

The minutes of previous meeting were read and house confirmed the same.

2. Bye laws for smooth working of SSC were discussed and finalized (copy attached as Annexure.1).

3. The house discussed about annual calendar and following decisions were taken:

a) The annual exams for the session should be conducted in March and result should be declared by 31 March.

b)New session should be started w.e.f. April except for class XI.For class XI, session will start from June after class X exams are over.

c) The practical exams for XII should be conducted between April 1 and April 25 so that students can be prepared for theory exams without any disturbance.

d)No school should admit students without taking SLC within a month of admission and till then provisional admission should be granted. A common proforma for undertaking from parents should be prepared mentioning all documents to be submitted else their admission charges to be forfeited.

e) A common list of holidays should be followed by all member schools (List attached as Annexure 2). All member schools shall be free to declare more holidays as per  their needs in addition to those mentioned in list. Tentative schedule of summer break will be from 24 May to 30 June.

f)Annual calendar of activities should include workshops for teachers, co-curricular activities and sports for students. The tentative schedule to organize these events by coordinating Principals will be as under:

The coordinating team will discuss and frame rules, decide venues, activities,

groups/levels, criteria etc. to arrange the events successfully. They will be

responsible for informing all member schools about the event at least one month in advance, arrange the event, maintain records and submit one copy of all records tothe General Secretary for record.

4. It was decided that a committee should be constituted to consider application ofschools to become members of SSC and also to recommend approval of new schoolsand withdrawl of already existing members owing to any reason mentioned in clause 5of Bye laws. The following members were nominated by Executive body which were approved by all:

5. It was decided by the house that all members should be present in meeting to make it work effectively except in some unforeseen circumstances. This will help all to understand the purpose of Sahodaya and implement the decisions taken in the meetings. It was also decided that more committees will be constituted in future as per needs.

6. The meeting ended with vote of thanks to all the members by the President.
